Our team had the pleasure of visiting the Spotsylvania Career & Technical Center for an engaging and eye-opening meeting centered around workforce development and education. We were warmly hosted by the school’s Hospitality and Culinary programs, while we learned more about the wide range of opportunities the center provides.

Throughout the visit, we explored the variety of programs offered, each designed to equip students with practical skills and industry knowledge to set them up for successful, real-world careers. SC&TC center is clearly committed to preparing students for the workforce with purpose and passion.

During our discussion, we shared observations about current workforce trends, including both real-life challenges and positive takeaways we’ve seen among the incoming workforce. Topics included professionalism, adaptability, and the increasing value of career and technical education in today’s job market.

A big thank you to the staff and students at Spotsylvania Career & Technical Center for their hospitality and dedication. It was inspiring to see such a strong commitment to shaping the future of our workforce.
